DIODO TECHNOLOGY S.A.S.,<\/strong> in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law applicable in Colombia and acting as the entity responsible for the processing of your personal data, informs you that the personal data requested will be used for the following purposes: <\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Advance the procedures and services under your responsibility, in the exercise of your functions. <\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Provide the services that the client requires.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Publicize the services offered by DIODO. <\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Evaluate the quality of DIODO’s services.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Contact through face-to-face or non-face-to-face channels for the receipt of advertising, gifts, and information on different assistance products. <\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Prepare commercial reports, statistics, surveys, and market studies. <\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Carry out commercial or advertising campaigns on the services offered by DIODO, or its allies, and the changes it implements with respect to them. <\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Send commercial or advertising information about the services offered to the physical address, email, cell phone, or mobile device, via text message or through any communication channel in order to inform and carry out commercial and\/or advertising campaigns carried out by DIODO, or its allies.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Process personal information for the fulfillment of legal duties related to the assistance service, being able to share your personal information with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, technology providers, logistics operators, financial companies, franchise companies, third-party companies that are related to the provision of the assistance services contracted herein, subsidiaries of the DIODO group that are located in Colombia or in any other country where the subsidiaries of the DIODO group have operations, or with any third party that, due to the execution of the assistance service, must know my personal information.<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Processing of sensitive personal data, as long as it is indispensable and necessary for the development of the contracted service, understanding that the disclosure of this data is optional.<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. Taking into account the regulation of Law 1581 of 2012, which, among others, categorizes data of a special nature, its treatment and prohibition, such as: (a) sensitive data understood as those that affect the privacy of the owner or whose improper use may generate discrimination, such as those that reveal racial or ethnic origin, political orientation, religious or philosophical convictions, membership in unions, social organizations, human rights organizations or that promote the interests of any political party or that guarantee the rights and guarantees of opposition political parties, as well as data related to health, sexual life and biometric data; and (b) Personal data of children and adolescents may be processed as long as the purpose pursued with said treatment responds to the best interests of children and adolescents and ensures, without any exception, respect for their prevailing rights; as well as processing the collection of assistance services, storage in DIODO databases and consultation of financial information, before financial entities, that is exclusively related to the recurring payments of the services object of this agreement. <\/span><\/li>\n
  12. Provide additional information about the services provided by DIODO<\/span><\/li>\n
  13. Comply with the contractual obligations agreed between DIODO and the data owner.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Legal Basis and Use <\/b><\/p>\n

    Law 1581 of 2012 prohibits the processing of sensitive data with the exception of some cases, including when the Owner grants their consent, that is, the consent of the owner enables the processing of personal data of a special nature. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Personal data is collected for the purposes set forth above, and will not be extended to another purpose that has not been unequivocally established as such at the time of its collection, excluding cases of activities of historical, statistical or scientific value when a dissociation or anonymization procedure is used. <\/span><\/p>\n

    General and sensitive personal data will not be used to conduct market research, data mining, product segmentation and\/or customer profiling. <\/span><\/p>\n

    The personal data provided will not be sent to third parties outside of DIODO, unless it is a third party in charge of the processing, in accordance with the applicable regulations, under conditions of security and confidentiality of the information, or when by mandate of the Law or judicial resolution, DIODO is obliged to communicate said information to public entities, judicial and\/or police authorities, and other legitimate third parties. <\/span><\/p>\n

    In compliance with current regulations, DIODO has adopted the appropriate technical security and confidentiality measures with the aim of preventing alteration, loss, processing or unauthorized access that may affect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of personal data. In this way, in the event that data is transferred to a country outside the EEA, it will be done following the due security guidelines and corresponding guarantees to provide adequate protection to the owners of personal data. <\/span><\/p>\n
